Chemistry and Plastics Exhibitions to Be Held in Almaty alongside with the Construction Expo Events

Chemistry and plastics exhibitions, Chemie 2012 – Chemical Industry and Plastex Central Asia 2012 – Raw Materials, Equipment and Technologies to Produce and Process Plastics and Rubbers, will be held in Almaty alongside with the construction expo events on 14-16 March 2012.
Anastasia Balysheva, Chemie and Plastex CA Manager, noted: “Holding the construction expo projects and the chemistry and plastics exhibitions at the same venue allows presenting the entire process chain comprising raw materials, equipment, and finished products to specialists. Chemie and Plastex CA feature suppliers of chemical raw materials and manufacturers of the complete range of equipment to make plastic products, while KazBuild Spring and WinTec Expo Kazakhstan exhibitors include consumers of the above products, specifically manufacturers of construction and finishing materials, windows and doors.”

This year’s exhibitors are 17 companies from Austria, China, Germany, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Switzerland. New participants are local Chemistry & Technology LLP (chemicals) and Polyolefin - TLC LLP (sale of bulk polymers as well as colorants and additives produced in Russia, China, and Ukraine); the exhibition will be attended by representatives of Clariant Consulting, Switzerland, to present Clariant Chemical Concern, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of special chemicals. A broad range of plastics production and processing equipment will be displayed by Herbold Meckesheim GmbH, Germany, which is one of the leading manufacturers of plastics grinding and pulverising equipment, as well as washing, drying, and segregation units for contaminated plastic waste. The exhibition is attended by several companies from China, including major manufacturers of equipment to make plastic products, a firm specialising in the design and manufacture of extrusion lines for plastic pipes, and a press moulds producing enterprise.

Russia is represented by several enterprises, such as SIBUR Holding CJSC (the largest petrochemical company in Russia and Eastern Europe, with a full coverage of the industry cycle upstream from gas processing and production of monomers, plastics, and synthetic rubber and plastics), L.Ya. Karpov Chemical Plant OJSC (inorganic chemistry), AVC-Polymer LLC (plastics processing equipment), and KazanOrgSintez OJSC (manufacturer of more than 170 types of products). Starlinger & Co. Gesellschaft m.b.H., Austria, will demonstrate the technology of producing the well-known ad*STAR valve bags to pack cement and other bulk products, and a lot more.

The exhibitions are organised by Iteca, Kazakhstan exhibition company, together with its international partners ITE Group Plc (UK) and GIMA (Germany).
