Talking about the financial and food crisis in the countries of the
world, Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev emphasized, that
Kazakhstan has colossal opportunities for ensuring all kinds of food.
The Head of the State noted positive results of a republican session on issues of chemical sphere. Four large investors – Russian and Kazakh companies – are ready to invest in Zhambyl chemical industry about USD 5 bln.
In 2009 USD 500 bln will be invested in the chemical industry of the Zhambyl region. A major task of the Government is to solve issues of the chemical cluster and to involve all powers, the Head of the State said.
“It is a new revival of the Zhambyl region. I think we have worked a lot on the chemistry revival”, the Kazakh President said. The region must improve a social sphere; create a center of specialists training, which are necessary for development of the chemical industry.
N.Nazarbayev noted a positive direction of the region’s development, execution of all programmes and plans. “A situation in the region is normal. The industry develops and the social sphere improves. This shows, that the executive power realizes its tasks”, Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
